Stop by Our Open House for Holiday Gifts + Summer Favorites

November? How did that happen? We were so busy trying to learn all the ins and outs of flower farming that the summer and fall just flew by like the hummingbirds buzzing through our flowers! I'm thrilled to say that our soil appears to be very pleasing to all the varieties we tried this year, with the exception of the poor aliums nearly drowning in the June rains.

The boutique is filled with so many new products and artists that the website is nearly obsolete! We’ll get to that asap, but in the meantime, anything you see here that you want, just email or call and we’ll get it shipped out to you.

Will we see you this Saturday?

We're excited to announce that our Open House is this Saturday from 2-9 p.m. It begins with a holiday card making workshop instructed by Kai Kreates from 2-4 p.m. Each design has been created by Kai Kreates, but handmade with love by you! Deadline to sign up is November 4 with a minimum of six attendees, so sign up soon.

Following Kai is a tea demonstration by Lori from the Tea Caddy. Lori will walk you through her medicinal, healthy and delicious teas and help you make your own, as well.

We’ll have some great appetizers (and perhaps some wine), live music by Mohini Bhattacharya, a warm fire for you and, weather permitting, a bonfire outside, too.

Introducing brand new locally made products

We’re now filled with Blue Bird Pottery—from mugs, bowls and saucers to pie plates, dipping plates, brie bowls, and collectables.

And we are so pleased to now carry Back To Basics Log Cabin products, including natural skin care products, makeup, salves, balms, lotions, deodorant, teas, essential oils, jewelry, baby balms and booties!

Don't forget the perfect holiday gifts

Our dried flowers are hanging and ready to decorate your home, potpourri to make sure the summer smells stay with you, herbs, jams and of course, lavender.

We have the most delicious soy candles and melts made by Beechstreet Candleworks. We don’t know how she does it, but her smells make us want to climb in and eat them! Her candles even made it into the Grammy swag bags!

We also have wall art, signs and paintings by Art Dependent, Emily Hendershot, Jo Ellen Sherow, Handwritten Forward by Rylie James, and unique art and writing journals by Kai Kreates.

Revolution Designs makes Writers Blocks, bricks hand painted into your favorite books.

Hand-painted magnets and wire lanterns for your light bulbs by Art Dependent make fantastic gifts, although so far we've kept them for ourselves.

Good luck picking out your favorite handmade soap by Space Cadet soaps. Every time we think we know our favorite, she brings over some more.

Essential oils by Earth Philosophy in Cleveland will cater to your healing, sinus, pain, muscle, relaxing and sensual needs.

Peaceful Acres supplies us with our lavender oil products, turning the versatile oil into soaps, lotions, balms, salves, detangle spray, insect repellent, and our favorite headache oil.

Between the new products and old favorites, may have forgotten something or someone, but rest assured we are filled with so many fabulous summer smells you will forget winter is coming.

A Month of Blessings + A Big Announcement

What a blessing this month has been. The Hidcote and Twickle Purple were so pleased with the weather that they bloomed unexpectedly early and full, in their deep purple buds. Never did I imagine harvesting immediately after planting 500 new lavender plugs. We have over 150 bundles hanging to dry and the Grosso and Phenomenal are beginning their harvest as well. We've planted over 15 kinds of cut flowers and herbs as well, and some of their colors are beginning to show.

On top of all that, having a grand opening for the Lavender For Luck Studio is looking like a reality. We have set the date for July 9 and have a most amazing group of local artists and craftsmen that will be presenting their ware for your pleasure. Erin Stevens has been working non-stop putting together art and products that you will be fighting to have in your home. Gary has the fire pit made and we have some surprises we're hoping to pull off in time. Save the date now and toast a glass of Pleasant Hill Vineyards wine with us.

And the best blessing of all is the healing of my tumor. No signs of it are showing up in images and the surgery and remaining treatments should be a piece of cake. Many thanks to all for the prayers and support. Let's play ball!
